Community Rules (draft)
Panthassia is a cozy, slightly cyberpunk world of cloud seas, lantern light and arcane quiet. Everyone here is building it together. These rules keep it a place people want to stay.
1. Be kind
No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, or pile-ons. Disagree with ideas, not people. Critique art and writing the way you would want yours critiqued: specific, generous, useful.
2. Keep it legal and safe
No content that sexualises minors, ever (we report it). No illegal content, no instructions for serious harm, no malware, scams or phishing, no spam. Mature themes in fiction must be rated honestly and kept off the front page; explicit sexual content is not allowed.
3. Make it yours
Only submit work you made or have the right to share. No tracing, copying, or "inspired by" work that a reasonable person would call the same piece. Do not use other people's characters, logos or music. Fan work of Panthassia itself is welcome.
4. AI-generated art
Allowed, as long as it fits the world and looks excellent. Quality and fit are the test, not the tool. You must say in the submission that AI was used, you must have the right to use the tool's output (check the tool's terms), and it must not copy or imitate a named living artist or an existing character or franchise. Low-effort, off-theme or undisclosed generated work is declined.
5. Scenes (backgrounds)
- A scene is a place, not a poster: it should feel lived in and quiet enough that tools and text stay readable on top.
- Loop (.webm): VP9, 1920×1080, silent, longer than 10 seconds, 24–30 fps, up to 25 MB and 8 Mbps on average. The end must flow back into the start without a visible jump. Day, dusk and night are separate files.
- Still image: a complete background is fine. 16:9, from 1920×1080 up, up to 15 MB.
- Leave a gap: if the scene has a place for a character, say where (the "character slot") and keep it uncluttered.
- Fit the world: cloud seas, terraces, spires, lantern light, rain on glass, quiet cities of cables and paper lamps. Avoid logos, text, watermarks and flashing (nothing that strobes).
6. Characters (.riv)
- Made for a specific scene's character slot, with an artboard whose proportions match that slot (within 10%), up to 2 MB.
- One idle state machine that loops calmly. Small motion only: breathing, a blink, a shift of weight. No sudden movement, no sound, no network, no scripts.
- Transparent background. Stylised, not photoreal, and consistent with the scene's palette and light (see the Creator Guide).
- Give each character a name, a short history and where they belong in the world (see Lore).
7. Lore and stories
- Lore proposals are reviewed in stages: community curators can accept a proposal as community lore; only the founder can make something canon. Canon is rare and must not contradict existing canon.
- Good lore proposals: add a place, person, custom, object or event; say how they connect to what exists; leave room for others to write more.
- Link new work to existing lore (name the places and people it touches). Stories may disagree with canon; label them honestly as community tales.
- Rate stories honestly. Credit collaborators and sources.
8. Forums
Put threads in the right board. Spoiler-tag spoilers. No advertising your own products in boards that are not meant for it. Use the report button instead of replying to rule-breakers.
9. What happens when rules are broken
Content may be hidden or removed, and accounts warned, suspended or ended, depending on how serious and how repeated it is. Every moderation action is logged with a reason. You can reply to a removal notice to ask us to look again. Curators and the founder follow these rules too.
10. Reporting
Use the report button on any post, story or submission, or email [EMAIL]. Urgent safety issues: [EMAIL]. If someone is in immediate danger, call the emergency services.
